Unlike traditional microneedling, Cellstory’s liquid microneedling is completely needle-free. It uses patented Microspears® technology which delivers 50,000 liquid microneedles into the skin, making it the perfect alternative for those with a fear of needles.
It is very comfortable to have. You will feel a prickly sensation during application and up to 48 hours post treatment.
One of the biggest advantages of CELLSTORY is its minimal downtime, making it perfect for clients with busy schedules. We advise avoiding sweating, heavy exercise or exfoliation 48 hours post treatment. Make-up can be applied the next day.
Cellstory targets a range of skin concerns, including the improvement of fine lines, wrinkles and loss of volume, enhancing skin texture, reducing hyperpigmentation, scarring, enlarged or congested pores and acne.
Yes. Unlike traditional microneedling treatments, Cellstory is safe for use on clients with active inflamed acne, helping to calm and regenerate the skin.
Visible improvements can be seen as early as the next day. However, we recommend consistent homecare, especially with SPF and proper skin maintenance, to maximise results. For optimum results a course of four is recommended and can be had as close as a week apart.

We do not recommend Cellstory treatments for clients who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, due to potential sensitivities.
Many clients notice a healthier glow after just one treatment. For the most noticeable improvements in skin texture, firmness and overall skin quality, we generally recommend a course of four treatments, tailored to your individual skin concerns during your consultation.
Aftercare
To achieve the very best results we recommend:
- Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and steam rooms for 24–48 hours.
- Protect your skin with SPF every day.
- Avoid excessive sun exposure for several days.
- Follow the recommended homecare advice and use the aftercare products provided by your therapist after the treatment.
